Cherry and Chrome Ballpoint Twist Pen
AMERICAN CHERRY - Prunus serotina
American Cherry ranges in colour from a reddish orange to a rich pink tan. It has a fine, close, straight and sometimes wavy grain. The sapwood is a lighter yellow colour and often one face and one edge of our boards will include this. With an oil finish, American Cherry can turn dark pink/red.
Turned on May 14th 2014 from seasoned American Cherry on the Llangollen Canal at Grindley Brook. It is finished in several coats of boiled linseed oil and cyanoacrylate to give a hard wearing deep gloss finish.
